Mars1 is an image manipulation project created as a futuristic billboard concept. The design combines photo compositing, lighting, scale, and atmospheric effects to create a bold advertisement that feels dramatic, imaginative, and visually engaging.
The goal of this project was to create a strong billboard advertisement using image manipulation techniques. I combined separate images and visual elements to build a Mars-inspired scene that communicates exploration, curiosity, and futuristic living. The final design focuses on impact, readability, and storytelling at a large scale.
The concept was built around the idea of making Mars feel like a destination. I explored space imagery, planetary textures, and futuristic living visuals to create a scene that feels both cinematic and promotional.
The final composition uses layering, masking, color correction, and lighting adjustments to blend multiple images into one cohesive scene. Each element was adjusted to match the environment and create a stronger sense of depth and realism.
The design uses Impact for its bold, high-contrast appearance, making the headline immediately eye-catching and easy to read at large scale. This choice supports the billboard format by ensuring clarity and strong visual impact, while complementing the dramatic and futuristic theme of the composition.
The final billboard uses bold typography, strong contrast, and a dramatic Mars environment to quickly capture attention. The large-scale format allows the composition to feel immersive while keeping the message clear and readable from a distance.
